Adrian Peterson Just Gifted Scooters to Entire Redskins Offensive Line

Washington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson (it’s still weird typing that) had a monster game in his matchup against the Green Bay Packers two weeks ago.

The legend flashed some of the old Peterson in a game against one of his biggest rivals, rushing for 120 yards and 2 touchdowns. Of course, no performance in football is solely executed by one player, and Peterson is clearly cognizant of that fact. That’s why the veteran went ahead and purchased his whole offensive line a set of scooters.

And the result was chaos.

As you can imagine, letting a group of the largest athletes in the world run wild with scooters in the locker room turned out absolutely insane. Apparently, the big 300-pounders were zooming all around the room after Peterson revealed the gifts. Pandemonium broke out.

As hilarious (and perhaps dangerous) as that scene must’ve been, it was still a classy move by Peterson to recognize that his performance was a team effort. It also seemed like a great chemistry-builder for a team leading their division with a tough task ahead in the New Orleans Saints.

With the best defense in the league statistically to this point, Washington certainly has reason to be confident moving forward. Their first true test comes in New Orleans against an elite offense in a hostile environment.

Perhaps Peterson’s gifts will leave the linemen wanting more.
