This is not what Eagles fans want to hear.
According to Zach Berman, Carson Wentz has not participated in 11-on-11 drills for the third straight day.
Carson Wentz not doing 11-on-11s. Third practice in a row. Did it first three practices.

As many people know, Wentz tore his ACL week 14 vs. the Los Angeles Rams and has been working his way back ever since. When training camp began, things were looking really good, and many people were saying it was hard to tell that Wentz was even injured.
"I think if you didn't know he had the injury…you'd probably assess that everything was good."

Then he sits out of team drills for three straight practices, and everyone heads right for the panic button.
Doug Pederson did his best job to calm the throngs, claiming that this is all part of the plan.
Doug Pederson on Carson Wentz: “I don’t need to see him in 11 on 11s” right now. When the time comes I’ll put him back out there. Pulling him back is part of the plan. #Eagles

Makes sense, of course. After all, he did undergo surgery to repair his knee about seven and a half months ago, so they Eagles are probably going to take it easy with him; they expect Wentz to be their franchise QB for many years to come, and if that means playing it safe and maybe holding him back a bit longer, so be it. They are not going to take any risks.
