Earlier this week, the love affair between the Kansas City Chiefs and Marcus Peters had seemingly soured and the franchise made it known they were fielding calls about a possible trade.
It didn’t take very long to find a suitor, because ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the star cornerback may be headed to the Los Angeles Rams as early as today.
Chiefs are expected to trade CB Marcus Peters to the Los Angeles Rams, sources tell ESPN. Teams are in final stages of talks and barring an unexpected snag, the trade is expected to be agreed to as early as today.

Peters is coming off a stellar year for Kansas City, with 46 combined tackles, nine passes defended, five interceptions, and three forced fumbles in 14 appearances last season.
