We all know that actor Mark Wahlberg is a huge New England Patriots fan. The man is Boston bred through-and-through. He has full faith in the Patriots, and it shows based on his expectations this season.
According to the New York Post, Wahlberg was seen placing a “hefty bet” on the Patriots to win Super Bowl LIII.

However, that is not the only bet Wahlberg made. In fact, he put money down on the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles at the William Hill Sports Book at Ocean Resort Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. It will serve as a backup plan for the actor, who ironically starred as Vince Papale in the 2006 film “Invincible.”
The financial terms of the bets have not been disclosed, but with the Patriots and Eagles serving as heavy favorites entering the season, it would have to be a large one in order for the actor to make a profit.

It is surely a lofty action for Wahlberg, as the football season is two months away. As we all know in the NFL, anything can happen. However, the Patriots have always served as the consistent AFC favorites to hoist the Lombardi Trophy, and the Eagles look to be a dynasty in the making.
Regardless, no one will be more anxious this season than “Marky Mark” Wahlberg.
