In the past, it was pretty much a given that putting any bet on the Cleveland Browns was an absolute joke and a waste of time considering their struggle to win a single game, but this offseason has changed that narrative dramatically.
According to the Caesars Palace sportsbook manager, there have been more bets on the Browns to win the AFC North than the other three teams, the Ravens, Steelers and Bengals, combined.
"There are more bets on the Browns to win AFC North than the other three teams combined. Only the Raiders and Steelers have more bets to win the AFC. The public likes the Browns, and I'm not sure why."

It seems a little risky to be throwing down cash on a team that went 0-16 last season, but hey, crazier things have happened.
What’s even crazier about the whole situation is that fans aren’t even leaving it at a division title, they are betting on the Browns to win the AFC and represent them in this upcoming Super Bowl. Only the Raiders and Steelers have gotten more bets to win the AFC.
That means that they are getting more bets than the New England Patriots, the Denver Broncos and the Jacksonville Jaguars, which is absurd considering the fact that the Patriots and Jaguars are the two teams we’re probably going to see in this year’s AFC Championship Game.

We know that Cleveland fans love their team, that’s a given, and they did make some serious changes to their roster, but betting on them to take the whole thing is just ridiculous.
I can think of a million things that would be better to spend your money on, but hey, if you’ve got money to blow, who am I to tell you what to do with it.
