BREAKING: Vikings OT Rashod Hill Leaves Practice on Cart

The Minnesota Vikings may be the most complete team on paper going into the 2018 season. The club finished last season with perhaps the best defense in the NFL and also had a bevy of talented pass catchers on the offensive side of the ball.

After supplementing their defense through player acquisition, adding Kirk Cousins, and seeing their young star running back return to the field, the Vikes have plenty to be excited about.

That’s if their offensive line can stay healthy.

Offensive tackle Rashod Hill was seen being escorted off the field on a cart after falling to a knee during practice. Brian O’Neill replaced him at left tackle for the rest of practice.

Hill is the fourth offensive lineman to be injured for Minnesota this preseason, something quarterback Kirk Cousins should dread seeing. Two centers, Pat Eflein and Nick Easton, have gone down with shoulder and neck injuries, respectively, and haven’t returned.

Guard Mike Remmers just recently came back from his injury.

It’s certainly not a great sign for the Vikings’ offensive line, who are tasked with protecting their new $84 million man.
