Mike Hughes is going to fit in just fine in this vaunted Vikings defense. Hughes, chosen at the end of the first round out of National Champion UCF read Jimmy Garoppolo’s desired route here perfectly, and the rout is on in Minny.
It’s possible that Jimmy G and company will eventually find their footing this year, but early on in Minnesota, there’s not a ton of smooth offensive action going on.
Vikings defense is as-advertised, though.
