Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers will eventually get a contract extension done, whether it’s this offseason or not.

Rodgers’ market value was sure to be affected by Matt Ryan’s new contract, and before the Falcons even finalized the deal, Rodgers was tired of hearing about it.

As a matter of fact, the Super Bowl winning quarterback ran into Atlanta GM Thomas Dimitroff earlier this offseason, and the two had quite the entertaining interaction.

Good to see Rodgers has a sense of humor during this whole contract ordeal.

At 34 years old, Rodgers’ next contract extension could be the last of his career. He is already signed with Green Bay through 2020, but a new deal to pay the quarterback what he deserves should get done soon.

Now that Dimitroff has heeded Rodgers’ advice and finalized a five-year, $150 million contract with Ryan, Rodgers can expect a similar deal coming soon from his general manager.
