Chicago Bears fans are absolutely thrilled at the idea of how good their defense can be this year after acquiring defensive superstar Khalil Mack from the Oakland Raiders and drafting stud linebacker Roquan Smith out of Georgia eighth overall.
Fans will have to wait just another week at least before limitations are taken off the both of them.
Chicago's Khalil Mack and Roquan Smith will make their Bears debuts tonight at Green Bay vs. the Packers. They won't play the full game — the Bears still want to be careful with them — but they will play enough to try to impact it.

As we know, Smith had a lengthy holdout during OTAs and training camp when the Bears struggled to get his contract signed.
As for Mack, he likely needs just a bit more time to learn the playbook after joining Chicago’s organization a couple of weeks ago.
The Raiders could have signed Khalil Mack 6 months ago … For less $$ than the Bears gave him (despite parting with 2 1st round picks in the process) https://t.co/JKe55CePJj

Head coach Matt Nagy is definitely being wise by not rushing either star into the action and overloading them too early as both will be focal points to the Bears defensive and team success all season long.
