Sound the alarms! We have our first fight of the NFL preseason! The scuffle took place at the Dallas Cowboys’ practice field in Oxnard, California, as teammates Taco Charlton and La’el Collins were seen going at it, which made most of the team get involved to try to break them up.

Those close to the fight said that Collins, a fourth-year defensive tackle, instigated the fight by pushing the second-year defensive end Charlton to the ground. Charlton got up and shoved Collins back, which caused a momentary stoppage at training camp.

There are surely plenty of fans who live to see this stuff, but head coach Jason Garrett wanted none of it. In fact, he just stood there on the side as the fight unfolded, waiting for it to end.

The Cowboys are facing immense pressure ahead of the 2018-2019 season. In a division where the Philadelphia Eagles look to repeat as Super Bowl champions, the New York Giants aim to rebound from an injury-plagued season, and the Washington Redskins have a new quarterback at the helm in Alex Smith, the Cowboys can barely afford to fight each other when they have so many factors outside themselves that they need to worry about.
