One of the premier pass rushers in the NFL today has quite the appreciation for the skills of current Chicago Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. Speaking with reporters at practice on Wednesday, Miller had nothing but good things to say about Trubisky and his future in the NFL and with the Bears.

The word Miller was most fond of in his description of Trubisky was “great.” Miller called him a great fit for the Bears system, a great all around quarterback that could do a little bit of everything, and that he was great in college at North Carolina.

He even went as far as calling him Chicago’s franchise quarterback, which is surely what the Bears are hoping for after trading up in the draft to select him with the second overall pick.

That type of praise means a lot coming from someone like Miller, who was the MVP of Super Bowl 50 and has been a six-time Pro Bowl selection due to his dominance at outside linebacker.

Like Trubisky, Miller was also selected with the second overall pick back in 2011 out of Texas A&M. Trubisky has had an underwhelming start to his professional career, but if Miller sees greatness in him, odds are he will develop into someone greater.
